Rapallo & Santa Margherita : Ligurian lightness

The town of Rapallo is included amongst highly suggestive landscapes.

It is an urban area known to include cities of tourist interest such as Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure.

Rapallo is among the most populous and attractive towns in the entire region of Genoa.

Its history and the breathtaking landscapes are unforgettable.

Situated on the Ligurian Sea coast, Rapallo is a city where waterways cut across the region. That is one of the reasons why population increased drastically over the years.

Lightness is one of the elements that is typical of Rapallo – the hills scattered around it elevate the city. There are different peaks like the Castello, Crocetta and Zuccarello reaching up to 700 metres above sea level.

Sea has always represented a very important and relevant element in the development of Rapallo. There is an incredible number of water activities tourists can discover and experience.

Santa Margherita Liguria, near Rapallo, is a part of the headland encompassing Portofino, the latter famous for its picturesque harbour.

Agriculture has always been regarded as a very important part of the area.
