Located practically in the heart of Umbria Region, Spello is part of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Formerly in the Middle Ages, Spello became a free town with free laws, despite given as feud to the Baglioni family of Perugia by the Pope in 1516.<\/p>\n

In addition to religious buildings, it is really worth going to the Roman House, which dates back even to the first century after Christ; it should have belonged to Vespasia Polla, mother of Vespasian, as suggested by the inscription on the wall of the same building.<\/p>\n
