Puglia North area<\/strong><\/p>\n

Puglia<\/strong> is brushed by the Adriatic Sea on the east and by the Ionian Sea on the south and west.<\/p>\n

In the north there are the Gargano and the coasts included in the provinces of Foggia<\/strong>, Barletta-Andria-Trani<\/strong> and Bari<\/strong> that overlook the Adriatic Sea, in the south those in the provinces of Brindisi<\/strong>, Taranto<\/strong> and Lecce<\/strong>, the latter two wet both from the Ionian and from the Adriatic.<\/p>\n

Beach of Foggia<\/h4>\n

\"calalunga_peschici\"In the province of Foggia is located the gorgeous beach Calalunga di Peschici<\/strong>, just a few kilometers from Peschici and near the Gargano National Park.<\/p>\n

The golden beach is fringed by green woods and the sea is brilliant turquoise.<\/p>\n

There are beach clubs and bars.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Pugnochiuso bay is situated the enchanting Baia delle Zagare beach<\/strong>, a magnificent bay wet by a turquoise sea touched by rocks, sea caves and above all by a very clear and clean sand.<\/p>\n

All around the coast is high and rugged, rock and vegetation contribute to give this place the charm of unspoiled nature.<\/p>\n

The hotel which runs the Baia delle Zagare offers to customers beach umbrellas and chairs.<\/p>\n

\"spiaggia-di-porto-greco\"Near the town of Vieste<\/strong> it is worth to mention the beautiful beach of Porto Greco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This beach is reachable by a curvy path, but it’s worth the trouble: it is a lonely beach of clear gravel, surrounded by cliffs, overlooking a crystal clear sea.<\/p>\n

All around thrives a luxuriant greenery.<\/p>\n

There are no bathing establishments, but it is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Gargano.<\/p>\n

In the Santa Maria di Merino Bay, between Vieste and Peschici, there is the Long beach of Vieste<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This stretch of coast is made of golden and fine sand behind which are located several wooded areas.<\/p>\n

There are bathing establishments, campgrounds and other facilities for tourists. The sea is very clean and this stretch is also popular with windsurfers.<\/p>\n

Beach of Barletta-Andria-Trani<\/h4>\n

In the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani there is the magnificent beach of Bisceglie<\/strong>, made of pebbles and larger stones.<\/p>\n

This coastline has been awarded more times with the Blue Flag and is a gathering place for many young people who want to enjoy both day and night thanks to the many entertainments that the location offers them.<\/p>\n

Beach of Bari<\/h4>\n

In the province of Bari is located the Lido of Monopoli<\/strong>, belonging to the namesake city.<\/p>\n

A beautiful turquoise sea laps a golden sandy beach, equipped with bathing establishments that offer numerous services.<\/p>\n

Behind the beach rise up the typical houses of the town that create a picture postcard.<\/p>\n

Puglia South area<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beach of Brindisi<\/h4>\n

In the province of Brindisi there is the famous seaside town of Ostuni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7 km far from the center of the town is located the beach Torre Pozzella of Ostuni<\/strong>, a beautiful coastal stretch of golden sand, rocks that emerge from the waters and Mediterranean scrub close to the coast.<\/p>\n

The sea is very clean and the beach is overlooked by an ancient sighting tower of the sixteenth century.<\/p>\n

Beach of Taranto<\/h4>\n

\"spiaggia-di-ginosa-marina\"On the Ionian coast, in the Gulf of Taranto and not very far from the border with Basilicata there is the beautiful beach of Ginosa Marina<\/strong>, a beach of fine golden sand fringed with pine forests, with large stretches of free beach.<\/p>\n

No lack of equipped bathing establishments and the usual clean and crystal clear sea that attracts many tourists every year.<\/p>\n

In the Gulf of Taranto there is also the beautiful beach of Castellaneta Marina<\/strong>, belonging to the town of Castellaneta.<\/p>\n

A coastal stretch several kilometers long made of fine light sand that overlooks a very clean sea, a feature that in 2015 made this location get the Blue Flag.<\/p>\n

The beach is equipped and there are restaurants, hotels and entertainment for all ages, both day and night.<\/p>\n

Beach of\u00a0Lecce<\/h4>\n

The province of Lecce houses the beautiful Salento, full of beaches and olive groves.<\/p>\n

Near Otranto<\/strong> there is the beautiful beach of Torre dell’Orso<\/strong>, very popular with tourists.<\/p>\n

Overlooking the Adriatic Sea, this golden sandy beach surrounded by high cliffs it is equipped with bathing establishments.<\/p>\n

On the waterfront and in the village there are several restaurants, bars and meeting places.<\/p>\n

Near Porto Cesareo<\/strong> lies the beach of Torre Chianca<\/strong>, also known as the Dunes beach.<\/p>\n

Dominated by the Tower of San Tommaso, built in the sixteenth century to fight the Saracen incursions, this white sand beach brushes a light blue sea and is surrounded by rocky areas and dune formations.<\/p>\n

There are free beaches and bathing establishments.<\/p>\n

\"baia-del-pizzo\"On the Ionian coast, south of Gallipoli<\/strong>, stands the Baia del Pizzo<\/strong>, a bay where sandy areas alternate with areas with low cliffs.<\/p>\n
