The city of Pula, in particular, represents a large segment of the island’s history.<\/h4>\n

Born from the first Phoenician settlements, of which there are still architectural witnesses<\/strong>, especially nuraghe.<\/p>\n

The important influence of Roman culture wasn’t missing, as it could colonize cultural aspects, taking a substantial part of its own history in the Middle Ages.<\/p>\n

When it was partially incorporated by Cagliari, passing in Spanish hands and increasing significantly its population density, gradually becoming a city of pastoralism and agriculture, until its annexation to the Kingdom of Italy.<\/p>\n

The beauty of Pula lies today in the architecture of civil and military type, consisting mostly of buildings and nautical outposts, from which it’s also possible to obtain observations of folklore because of the union with the religion of the place, developed through the influence Phoenician until the spread of Christianity.<\/p>\n

Chia is a complementary place to the wonder represented by the center of Pula.<\/h4>\n

Being located in a seaside locality particularly popular and appreciated for clean beaches and sweet hill slopes alternated with small rocky chains and characteristic vegetation with typical flora of the coast.<\/p>\n

The fine sand<\/strong> and the presence of islands where you can recognize the signs of past cultures, witness to the Phoenician and Roman passage<\/strong>, make Chia an important archaeological place, among sandy harbours, active lighthouses and ports in excellent condition, that make it attractive to anyone who wants to turn to Sardinia for a carefree holiday and full of culture at the same time.<\/p>\n
